Discovery steering damper relocation
Land Rover Accessories from Mill Services kit
Designed to move the vulnerable steering damper from its location behind the axle on LR Discovery’s where it’s prone to knocks and bending to the position similar to Defenders on the steering rod in front of the axle connected to the steering box, up out of the way of possible damage.
The kit includes 2 bolts for bolting the bar to the chassis, 2 U bolts that attach the angle bracket to the steering rod, the angle bracket and the bar that fixes to the chassis. The kit costs £30.00 and includes delivery to mainland UK.
Mill Services are also able to provide a new hydraulic steering damper at a cost of £36.00 including postage to mainland UK. These are the heavy duty, up rated type which should last considerably longer in offroading situations than the standard original fitment item.
Both items can be bought together for £60.00 including carriage to UK mainland.
