SV8 waterproof kit is for the serious off roader or for the person that requires 100% reliability and peace of mind that their distributor and coil will not suffer from the damp.
The water proofing kit comprises a “HAT” for Coil and the Distributor cap and “Zip ties” to make sure that they are held securely in place.
The HATS are made from high performance polymers and SHOULD NOT be coated with WD40 (and other such products) as they will degrade the polymers.
